Fiction, or nonfiction, the long form of creative writing is built upon scenes. We all think we know what they are, but let's look more closely! I'll take ten minutes and tell what I think is most important in a scene and some of the sand-in-the-tank stuff that gets in my way, and maybe in your way, too.
